We are excited to announce two internship opportunities at our flagship studio in Summer 2024. Both positions offer free accommodation and a monthly stipend. Successful candidates will be based in the historic city of Carlisle, just a stone’s throw from the Lake District National Park. You will be supported by an expert team, who will train you on the processes of this complex industry.

Summer Marketing Internship

We are looking for a Marketing Intern to manage our social media channels and content creation over Summer 2024. The dates for this internship are flexible, depending on your term dates and other commitments. 

This is the perfect opportunity for a student who has an enthusiasm for telling engaging stories and a strong interest in art history from antiquity to contemporary. We are looking for the following skills:

  • Experience with mainstream social media and/or video channels
  • Creative spark with fresh concepts for content creation and storytelling 
  • Initiative, self-motivation and an eagerness to develop skills

As a Summer Studio Assistant, you will learn about everyday life in our business and the exciting but practical side of art restoration. This role will include administrative work, such as client management, logistics, outreach and sales. The dates for this internship are flexible, depending on your term dates and other commitments. 

This is the perfect opportunity for a student who is looking for experience within a unique business setting, combining the art world with key occupational skills that will benefit your future career journey. For this role, we are looking for the following:

  • Experience with customer service and sales (such as retail or office work)
  • Strong initiative and problem solving skills with a collaborative approach
  • Computer savvy with an ability to pick up new software and management systems
