Antique Furniture Upholstery
Over time upholstery may face wear through constant use, or perish and discolour due to accidents and disasters.

Our experts are on hand to provide care and restoration for damaged and well-worn upholstery.
Whether you are looking to have the original textile maintained or find yourself in need of re-upholstery, our antique furniture team can sensitively revive soft furnishings with traditional techniques.
Many eras of antique furniture are included in our service. From Chippendale chairs to an Art Deco chaise longue or even a Mid-Century sofa, we are happy to guide you through the process of selecting a new, era-appropriate fabric or a contemporary alternative to suit your home.

Structural restoration
Because we are a conservation company, the structure of your antique furniture can also be restored to stabilise any loose joins or stained wooden surfaces. This can be undertaken by our furniture team whilst old upholstery is cleaned and revived or new upholstery is made to measure.
Restoring original upholstery
It may be possible to rescue the original upholstery on your antique furniture. Our expert can restore breakages to textiles such as historic tapestry seats and embellishments. Upholstery can be restored to a level that allows you to continue using the furniture or conserved to protect the historic and artistic value.
Traditional methods
Our upholstery expert uses centuries old techniques, whether they are providing a new finish or reviving original features. All upholstery is completed by hand, with a bespoke finish to meet your requirements.
