Protective framing for posters and unusual items can be arranged by our professional technicians. Choose from a wide range of styles to suit your interior or the history of the memorabilia, safe in the knowledge that all materials used are conservation appropriate and acid free.
UV protective glazing is available to prevent the fading of pigments, such as the colour of posters and prints, as well as sensitive ink found in autographs and handwritten notes.
Further protection is offered by museum glass, this is a UV protective option that also offers less reflection for a clear view of your treasured item.
Large and unusual items, such as three-dimensional props or sporting memorabilia, can also have a safe display arranged. Bespoke mounts can be arranged to allow even the most challenging of items to be viewed in well-preserved conditions.
Mount windows for autographs or notes on the item (such as the name of a film or celebrity) can also be arranged, allowing for memorabilia to maintain their provenance and history for future generations.
Original frames can also be restored depending on their material, if the frame is a vital part of the memorabilia our frame conservators can work to revive this following damage.
I found this company excellent to deal with. Even though I lived at almost the opposite end of the country they collected the damaged paintings and delivered all with the utmost care.
The restorers at Fine Art Restoration Company were a delight to work with. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very helpful and patient. Their work was top-notch, both my paintings have given new life and completely renewed our experience of viewing them. Highly Recommended.
